EDEN “EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS OF EXCELLENCE” CULTURAL TOURISM - Syros Island Candidacy 2017

Dynamic Vision announces with great pleasure that will be coordinating the submission of the application file of Syros Island candidacy in the context of the Call for the European Project “EDEN”: “European Destinations of Excellence” – “Cultural Tourism”. “EDEN” project helps to spread the sustainable practices used in the chosen destinations across the Union and to transform upcoming, or even unknown touristic sites into major visitor attractions throughout the whole year. This European quest for excellence in tourism is developed around an annual theme, chosen by the Commission together with the relevant National Tourism Bodies. This year’s thematic, cultural tourism, has to do with the material heritage and all kinds of products of human creativity which have been considered worth preserving for the future generations. The key feature of the selected destinations will be their commitment to social, cultural and environmental sustainability. Based on previous experience in promoting touristic destinations and its expertise in European Programs, Dynamic Vision will help Syros Island to highlight its great cultural wealth and the numerous options of Sustainable Tourism offered by the Greek island, through Europe’s touristic diversity.
